Financial Aid Workshop
Financing your child’s education may be one of the largest
investments you will make. As the parent(s)/guardian(s) of a junior or
senior, you should begin exploring the financing options available. It is
not an issue you should delay. To assist you, our High School Counseling
Office will be hosting a financial aid seminar on Thursday evening, January 29,
2015 at 6:30 PM in the High School Cafeteria.
This seminar is designed specifically for parents whose
children are interested in pursuing any type of post-secondary education
(4-year College, 2-year College, Community College, Business School, Nursing
School or Technical School).
Presenter, Jayeann Harr, PHEAA Representative, will provide
you with a wide range of information regarding financial aid programs and will
share the latest changes. Ms. Harr will walk you through a Power Point
demonstration of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and answer
any questions you may have regarding the process. Students are
welcome and encouraged to attend with their parent(s)/guardian(s).
To register, please email Ms. Kaylor at firstname.lastname@example.org with the number of people who will be in attendance or return the registration form that you will receive in the mail. “Walk-ins” (not registered) will still be welcome. This seminar is open to the
public. Parking is available directly in the front or back of the
building. We look forward to seeing you there!
