New Student Registration
To register a new or transferring student, please contact the Guidance Office to set up an appointment. You will need to bring the following information to this appointment:
- a record of immunization;
- previous school transcript or latest report card;
- a copy of the student's birth certificate;
- proof of residence within the territory of the Connellsville Area School District.
Transcript Requests
If you are a current CACTC Student:
To request a transcript, you must complete a transcript request form. Transcripts are issued as quickly as possible; however, requests should be made well in advance as there may be a slight delay during busy periods of the school year. There is no charge for the first three transcripts. After that, there will be a $3.00 fee for each transcript.
If you are a graduate of the Connellsville Area School District/CACTC:
To request a transcript, you must visit the Guidance Office at the High School. Upon completion of a transcript request form, a photo ID must be presented. Transcripts are issued as quickly as possible; however, requests should be made well in advance as there may be a slight delay during busy periods of the school year. There is no charge for the first three transcripts. After that, there will be a $3.00 fee for each transcript.
Unofficial Transcripts
As a current student, you are entitled to a copy of your unofficial transcript. Your unofficial transcript contains the same information as the official transcript, but it is printed on white paper and does not bear the CAHS seal and signature of the Guidance Secretary. To obtain your unofficial transcript, you must make your request in person.
Graduation Requirements
In accordance with the Strategic Plan, beginning with 1995-1996 ninth grade students, the Connellsville Area School District graduation criteria shall include:
*A total of 24.5 planned course units in grades 9 through 12, with a minimum of six course units per year in seven scheduled class period per day including:
- 4 English Units
- 3 Math Units (*Must include 1 Geometry Unit)
- 3.5 Social Studies Units
- 3 Science Units (*Must include 1 Biology Unit)
- 3-Physical Education Units (.4 Unit per Course)
- Health (.5 Unit)
- Career Skills (.25 Unit)
- Consumer Skills (.25 Unit)
- Information Processing Applications (.5 Unit)
*Successful completion of the Senior Graduation Project
*Successful completion of the Junior PSSA Test, with a score of 'Proficient' or 'Advanced' in both Math and Reading
*Students who score 'Basic' or 'Below Basic' in Math and/or Reading will be required pass PSSA remediation course for each area.
