Message from the Principal

Welcome to Bullskin Twp. Elementary School! Learning is the number one priority each day at Bullskin Twp. Elementary. Completely renovated in 1998, the school houses approximately 450 students in grades K-6. The average class size is 22-23 students per classroom. Students are engaged in a variety of learning tasks including the core academics such as math, language arts, science and social studies. In addition to these subjects, students also receive instruction in art, music, computers, health, physical education, and library. Title I programs are available for those students needing additional reinforcement to instruction in the regular classroom. Three special education classes are also available for those students needing specially designed instruction in order to achieve success in the curriculum. Students in the intermediate grades are encouraged to participate in the instrumental music program. Chorus is offered to children in grades 5-6 as well. Students are given the opportunity daily to have a nutritional breakfast and lunch through our cafeteria program. The Bullskin PTG is another invaluable asset that provides additional support to our school. Field Trips, programs, parties, etc. are all made possible through the financial support for our PTG. The Bullskin PTG generally meets monthly. The faculty and staff of Bullskin Twp. Elementary School in partnership with parents and community members are striving to build a learning community where student achievement is at its core. More importantly, we are preparing our children to be valuable, well-educated citizens who are committed to building an outstanding future.
