it's hard philosophy that if you're not using technology to teach your preparing the students for your past and not their future we don't live in the world where students sit in a desk in our lecture we need to change how we educate our kids our students live in technology this isn't something they're learning how to use their already there in the past year we've created a lot of new space is in our schools for providing opportunities for all of our kids and we're starting to build that Foundation earlier and earlier our kids deserve the best opportunity to be successful education and comentaristas changing in Connersville we had turned are libraries into makerspaces the students get to design I get to be engineer's they get to be higher thinking individuals that can create with their hands and traditional classroom is boring now you can really it feels like you can express how you are the solid the essential concept of it is learning through in body movement body learning call app is really really cool 39 currently in the country we have three of them in Connellsville the combined technology with what the students are learning Rabil to get everybody involved the students they love it they cheer each other on when the kids are active and you can maintain their attention they're going to retain much more is educational play and hopefully that transcends into all areas of their academic life and personal life with all of the new changes that have been taking place seeing you and Susie as in from the students encourages me this is a Fab Lab with cause very Middle School it's kind of exhilarating you can come down here and just express yourself and make what you want while also learning about it started with 3D catcher in the poster machine and we have a CNC router we can make anything I'm almost like a coach in here I give them some ideas and and they go with it give them a problem I can solve it and they can take it all the way to produce now they have a problem now they have something they can take home let them have that feeling of ownership of their own projects and what they can do in Fab Lab is a place where students are allowed to make mistakes and there's mistakes how many students already have experience with the Middle School Fab Lab will allow the students to come in here and take their ideas basically hit the ground running this if I buy Bitcoins very high school we take real world problem Elite belt Solutions we are on the Falcon production TV studio access to professional video equipment experiences when Cowboys went Point Park University will be on Media Center at the high school inside of that we have the interactive classroom with the one button studio and we the audio studio is a facility that is unlike others for students to come and stand and learning you know where I stand for imagination inspiration innovation invention and we want to make sure that all of those things are possible when they walk through these doors I mean is better has become the Hub of the school offering so many resources new technology along with the basics that are so important I like being in here because it makes me want to be in school more and once it got put in this is like this is like my own place here so I can come here and do what I actually love to do is space chicken should like take advantage of this tastes like grape you know we're not giving them an educational platform for the regurgitating information we're saying you create your I will give you the tools to do that and will support you as you go time for the junior high with all of the Fantastic faces they have like the Fab Lab at the junior high and then goes on to high school at the idea Center students are going to learn how to be an engineer's how to fail and be okay with how to rise up whenever they feel like they can't do something and figure out a way on their own when are students walkthrough Falcon stadium for graduation our goal as an administrative team and Kohl's at Community is the make sure we've done the best that we can do for them the last 12 years that they've been a Connellsville Falcon and when they get that diploma and they head on their way we want to make sure that we did right by them because they're our greatest asset and we feel like we're doing that moving for
