Curriculum K-12
The Connellsville Area School District’s Curriculum K-12 is based on the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Standards-Aligned System. The Pennsylvania Standards Aligned System (SAS) is a research-based web resource in which six distinct elements are identified. If the six elements are implemented with fidelity, it is the expectation that improved student achievement will occur. The six elements of student achievement are clear standards, fair assessments, curriculum framework, instruction, materials & resources, and interventions. Click on www.pdesas.org to access the SAS website.
