School Nurses
School Health Services
Connellsville Area School District’s school nurses work to promote the health, safety, and academic success of every student. They provide first aid and emergency care, manage chronic health conditions, administer medications and prescribed treatments, conduct required health screenings, monitor immunization compliance, and help families access appropriate health resources.
School nurses collaborate with families, healthcare providers, teachers, and other school personnel to develop individualized health and emergency care plans when needed. Parents and guardians are encouraged to communicate with their child’s school nurse regarding medical conditions, medications, health concerns, or changes that may affect the student during the school day.
