The State Board of Education established the rules for Homebound Instruction. Students may be on homebound instruction for NO LONGER than three (3) consecutive months, unless a new physician's request is submitted and approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). If the physician's request is not submitted, or if  the PDE does not approve the request, homebound instruction will cease.
