First place winner was Taylor Knopsnider, a fifth grade student at Springfield CNP Elementary. Taylor's flag, above left, represents Connellsville's gorgeous surroundings & nature, community working together, and people working hard to keep the community running. Taylor was presented with a $75 gift card to Appalachian Creativity Center.

 

Runner-up was Jason Fletcher, also a fifth grade student at Springfield CNP Elementary. Jason's flag, above right, represents Connellsville's Falcons, bravery, and hope. Jason is the recipient of a $25 gift card to Atkin's Music Center.
