The Connellsville Area Career and Technical Center’s SKILLS USA Chapter is hosting a “Touch-A-Truck” event on May 5, 2018. “Touch-A-Truck” is a FREE community event where families will have the opportunity to see, touch, explore, interact and learn about trucks and explore the multiple programs of study that the Career and Technical Center has to offer.
This is a unique opportunity for kids of all ages to get behind the wheel, honk horns, and meet the men and women who drive each truck. While admission to “Touch-A-Truck” is free, guests are asked to bring canned vegetables, non-perishable breakfast foods, peanut butter, jelly and any non-perishable foods. All of these proceeds will go towards the Connellsville Area Community Ministries Food Pantry!
We are looking for unique vehicles that will be on-site for kids to sit in, climb on, and take photos with including Big Rigs, Fire and Rescue Trucks, Police Vehicles, Construction equipment and more! If you are interested in having one of your vehicles featured at “Touch-A-Truck,” please email me by Friday, April 6. The event details are listed below.
